Our vehicle drops us off at a spot known as Cebollapampa (3,900m/12,795 feet) where we set out on foot towards the Pisco Oeste base camp, again with the assistance of donkeys and pack animals to carry our heavy equipment and provisions. And finish in Huascarán climbing (6768mt)

Program:

Day 1: Travel to Huaraz. Hotel night
Day 2: Huaraz: An acclimatization and organization day in Huaraz.
Day 3: Huaraz _ Llanganuco _ Base Camp Pisco at (4300mt)
We head out past the beautiful Llanganuco lakes and on to the trailhead where we load our donkeys and ascend to the Pisco Base Camp.

Day 4: Base Camp Pisco _ Moraine Camp at (4765mt)
Climb from Cave to Moraine Camp (4765mt).This climb crosses a challenging rock glacier before climbing steeply into camp in a small sandy basin just below the toe of the glacier.

Day 5: Moraine Camp _ Summit Pisco (5750mt) _ Base Camp at (4300mt)
Summit day! Wake at 3:00am and after a light breakfast depart for the summit. Arrive at the summit about 7am and discover why everyone talks about the view! Return to camp and continue on back down to the Base Camp

Day 6: Base Camp _ Return to Huaraz
We trek out to Llanganuco and then return to Huaraz.Time to relax after the climbing and celebrate.

Day 7: Huaraz _ Musho _ Base Camp Huascarán at (4100mt)
Leave for the town of Musho around 8am after picking up fresh supplies. Load the donkeys and hike to the base camp of Huascarán.

Day 8: Base Camp _ Camp 1 Huascarán at (4800mt)
In order to establish ourselves on the mountain, with sufficient food to last for the duration of the ascent, we will carry light loads to camp 1.

Day 9: Camp 1_ Camp 2 Huascarán at (5950mt)
Today we will climb the Garganta Icefall to the Col between Huascarán North and South summits. This will be the crux of the climb to camp 2.

Day 10: Camp 2 _ Summit Huascarán (6768mt) _Camp 1
Summit day! Again you'll start early, leaving camp around 2:00am for the summit ascent, arriving back at camp around 2:00pm. After a break and some warm food, you'll continue the descent to Camp One.

Day 11: Camp 1 _ Base Camp Huascarán at (4100mt)
Descend from camp 2 to base camp. Time: 2 to 3 hours.

Day 11: Base Camp _ Musho _ Return to Huaraz
From base camp, we will descend to Musho to be met by the transport. Our vehicles will be a welcome sight, especially as they will whisk us back to Huaraz and the comforts of our hotel
