ordillera Blanca is situated in the right side of the Callejos de Huaylas Valley, and it has approximately 180 km from south side to the North side mainly in the entire Huascaran National Park, in the Cordillera Blanca range we can find a total of 663 glaciers (26 of them at 6,000m.a.s.l.or above), Huascaran (at 6,768masl the highest mountain in the Peruvian Andes), Alpamayo (considered the most beautiful mountain in the world), 269 lakes and 41 rivers that flows in the both sides of the Cordillera Blanca, in the east side rivers flow to the Amazon flanks and to the Atlantic ocean, and in the west side rivers flow to the Rio Santa and then to the Peruvian coast area finally flows to the Pacific Ocean
